Over the last few months I have spent what little free time I have researching current farming
practices. As I was looking over my notes I noticed it kind of started to look like a book. After three months of late
nights I have completed my first book. "The Hobby Grain Farm". It is a book for individuals considering starting a small
grain farm-typically 80 to 800 acres. Other potential readers would be landlords or others in the agriculture industry
who want to know more about actual production agriculture.
I am currently putting the book on the shelf for a year and will come back after I finish selling my crop in 2005 and make some
updates and maybe see about getting it published.
I am looking for proofreaders and knowlegable people who would be willing to give me constructive criticisms. If you
are interested let me know and I would be thrilled to provide you a copy.
For now there are some links at the bottom to give you a preview of some of the information in the book.
