My first harvest! Fun fun fun!! I had 65 acres of corn and 83 acres of beans. My beans ended up making about 56bu per acre, corn was 168. Definately a good year to start farming! I was hoping just to break even but it turned out that I was able to pay for all of my equipment purchased so far (except the big tractor) and have a little left over for shed wiring expenses.

My first harvest was everything I hoped it would be. I was able to harvest most of my corn and though I didn't get the beans with my old combine I learned a good lesson and am confident I will be able to next year.
